KaiPad is designed for children aged 5 to 8, with content that adapts to their level and pace. We are actively expanding the learning experience to support older children up to 11 years old.

KaiPad is built from the ground up for children. Everything that does not serve or protect them is removed. Everything that helps them learn, grow, and explore is built in. Unlike a regular tablet, KaiPad is a closed environment. It is connected and powered by AI, but children cannot access app stores, social media, or browse the internet. There are no algorithms or random content. All content is fun, interactive, and designed with purpose to support real learning and development. The screen is designed for young eyes, with low blue light and a paperlike finish that feels closer to a book than a typical screen. KaiPad also includes SmartScan technology, allowing children to interact with the real world and turn everyday moments into learning experiences. Every detail, from the interface to the learning design, is intentionally built to reduce overstimulation and help children stay focused.

KaiPad can be used offline for many learning activities, but an internet connection is required for first-time setup, software updates, and full access to all features, including some AI-powered activities. Even when connected, it remains a controlled, closed environment where children cannot browse the internet, access social media, or download external apps.

No. Everything is already built in. KaiPad is ready to use out of the box, with no apps to download or set up. New content, games, and AI features are regularly added. An optional subscription will be available to unlock additional content and premium features.
